Content Developer is someone who is responsible for development of Content Strategy, which involves creation, development, and editing along with front-end web development.

Content Development involves the role of creating content as well as presenting content. The developer uses his skills and experience as a Content Writer and knowledge in web based technologies to create the deliverables.

The responsibility involve creative work like copy writing and designing and technical work such as basic HTML, SEO and formatting.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Content Developer:

Based on the requirements of the company, a content developer needs to create original content, copy write the existing ones and proofread.

Developing Content involves different responsibilities, such as :

Align the contents with the company’s goal

Learn about the organisation for which you will be writing. Research about the target audience, company’s goals, its vision and mission. A content developer needs to work in close association with the client to creating a harmony between the contents and client’s expectations.

A content developer is the one who is responsible for creating content goals and strategies in order to reach the company’s goals.

Creating Content and Content Distribution

Curating content is the main duty of a Content Developer. The content may comprise of blogs, graphics, sales copy, podcasts, video content, static web pages and so on. Along with creating content, a content developer is responsible for creating a roadmap to market and distribute those contents.

Quality assurance

Content Developers are required to edit and proofread every content that goes live because they have to keep an eye for quality and details. This needs a problem solving approach to ensure every content is free from error before presenting in front of the audience.
